# FlexiSpot EN1 vs ET-118W: Standing Desks for UAE Homes > Compare two FlexiSpot desks on Amazon.ae by usable height, desktop dimensions, drawer space, and charging ports before fitting out a home office. Canonical: https://mizaanhome.com/en-ae/guides/flexispot-en1-vs-et118-standing-desks/ Last updated: 2026-09-28 **Verdict:** Choose EN1 if you want an adjustable work surface and already have storage. Choose ET-118W if its drawer and USB connections solve a daily need. Measure your seated and standing keyboard heights before choosing either range. --- **EN1 suits a straightforward adjustable workspace; ET-118W adds a drawer and charging connections.** Pay for the extra features when they replace things you would otherwise keep on the desktop. Before choosing, compare each height range with the keyboard positions you actually need, including your seated position. ## Measure the working height before the desktop The EN1 offer gives a height range of **28.9 to 46.5 inches**. The ET-118W range is **28.3 to 47.6 inches including the top**. These figures describe the listed adjustment ranges; they do not establish comfort for every person or stability with your equipment. Start with your current chair and keyboard. Measure the surface height that lets you use the keyboard in your normal seated position, then measure the standing position you intend to use. If either measurement falls outside a desk's range, a drawer or extra port will not fix that mismatch. Include any keyboard tray or other equipment that changes where your hands sit. EN1 does not state whether its range includes the tabletop, so these figures may use different reference points. Confirm the work-surface height at both ends before relying on the small difference. The more expensive desk is not necessary for everyone. A fixed desk that already fits your work may remain the simpler choice if you do not intend to change height during the day. ## Check the EN1 size conflict before ordering The selected EN1 title describes a **48 x 24-inch top**, approximately **122 x 61 cm** after conversion. Its overview instead attaches centimeter units to a conflicting dimension string. Use the title as the provisional size and ask Amazon to confirm the dimensions of the supplied desk before fitting it between walls or ordering accessories. The ET-118W top is listed as **120 x 58 cm**. Draw the footprint on your room plan and check the space behind it for cables and in front for chair movement. A nominal desktop size is not the total space the workstation will occupy, particularly when a monitor arm or chair extends beyond it. The EN1's top-material fields also conflict, so this guide does not classify it as solid wood or a metal desktop. If the surface material matters to you, obtain a clear specification for the selected white configuration. The [home-layout guide](/en-ae/guides/homestyler-free-vs-paid-plans/) can help organize the room plan, but dimensions supplied for the desk take precedence over a generic furniture model. ## Decide whether the drawer improves your setup ET-118W keeps small supplies beneath the work surface. That may be useful when papers, cables, or stationery would otherwise sit beside the keyboard, but the drawer also occupies space above your knees. Check that you can sit at the height you need without the drawer or frame interfering. EN1 is the lower-cost starting point when you already have a storage unit or use few supplies. Compare the whole setup you intend to buy rather than treating an integrated drawer as an automatic upgrade. Separate storage can be moved or replaced independently, while built-in storage keeps everything with the desk. If you use a monitor arm, confirm the clamp's requirements against the actual top, edge, and under-desk structure. Neither the photograph nor a headline load figure establishes clamp compatibility. The EN1 offer's 154 lb load claim is also not a test of wobble at standing height; keep the manufacturer's operating limits distinct from expectations about movement. ## Charging and controls need their own checks ET-118W provides two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. These are useful connections for compatible devices, but the connector shape does not establish laptop-charging power. Ask for the output specification if you want the desk to replace a particular charger. Its child lock is a control feature, not a substitute for keeping the travel path clear. Check cables, nearby shelves, and objects beneath the top before changing height. Confirm the supplied power adapter's rating and plug for your UAE setup, and follow the desk's assembly and operating instructions. A quick-assembly headline is not a guaranteed installation time for your room or experience. ## Compare the local offers and complete setup In September 2026, Amazon.ae listed EN1 at about AED 410 and ET-118W at about AED 1,270. Both checked white configurations were sold and shipped by Amazon.ae with Dubai selected. Compare the final delivery terms for your address and any assembly service separately; an item price does not establish that someone will carry and build the desk in your room. Ask about returns after opening or assembly and the support route for the selected model. Warranty terms attached to a FlexiSpot E7 or a foreign direct-store offer do not establish the terms of either desk here. The [UAE standing-desk section](/en-ae/standing-desks/) keeps this focused comparison separate from a claim to cover the whole market. ## Sources and research basis We compared the exact Amazon.ae offers checked September 28, 2026. The advice concerns dimensions, storage, controls, and purchasing fit, with no hands-on testing or measured stability comparison. The photographs in the product cards identify the offers; the editorial room-planning image is generic. For the wider arrangement of the room, the [home-design section](/en-ae/home-design/) covers planning tools before furniture is ordered. > > Mizaan Home method: we rely on official specifications and dated local prices, with buyer-review summaries where the guide provides them.
