**Verdict:** Choose cleaning cloths around the jobs you do most: dusting, counter wipe-downs and everyday spills. Look for a useful size, washable care instructions and enough cloths to keep kitchen and bathroom tasks separate. NanoTowels offers 14-by-14-inch cloths in three pack sizes to compare below.

## Practical criteria for selecting cleaning cloths

Choose the cloth for the surface and the mess first. This guide covers one NanoTowels offer alongside general selection advice; it is not a ranked comparison of several brands.

| Your main job | What to check | When to choose a different tool |
|---|---|---|
| Everyday spills and counter wiping | A washable cloth that is easy to fold, rinse and replace with a clean one | The surface needs a specific cleaner or sanitizing step |
| Glass and mirrors | A clean wiping cloth plus a separate dry finishing cloth | The glass or coating has special care instructions |
| Dusting furniture | A clean cloth approved for that finish | A dirty utility cloth contains grit or cleaning residue |
| Screens and delicate coatings | The device manufacturer's exact cloth and moisture instructions | A general household cloth is not approved for the surface |

NanoTowels' seller suggests a damp-then-dry method for glass. That is a use method, not proof of a streak-free finish or an advantage over a cloth you already own.

## Choose your pack size

Count the cleaning areas you want to supply and allow for cloths that are in the wash. NanoTowels is available in packs of 4, 8 and 24; our [pack-price guide](/en-us/prices/cleaning-cloth-prices/) puts those options side by side.

A small supply can cover dedicated cloths for several routine jobs. If you clean more rooms or wash less often, compare the larger bundles. The [NanoTowels review](/en-us/reviews/nanotowels/) covers product dimensions, care and ordering details.

## Surface care notes

A cloth can remove visible soil without disinfecting the surface. The [CDC's home-cleaning guidance](https://www.cdc.gov/hygiene/about/when-and-how-to-clean-and-disinfect-your-home.html) distinguishes routine cleaning from sanitizing and disinfecting. Follow the surface instructions and any cleaner's label; a water-only marketing claim does not replace those steps.

The [NanoTowels care FAQ](https://www.nanolons.com/nano-offer) specifies warm hand or machine washing with normal colors, without bleach or fabric softener. Keep bathroom cloths separate from kitchen cloths, and keep used cloths away from the clean supply. For a workable rotation, see our [reusable-cloth routine](/en-us/blog/reusable-cleaning-cloths/).
