The 55 x 27-inch Costway is the stronger fit if you need more room between your keyboard and screen and its desktop height suits you. The 55 x 24-inch version takes less depth and reaches a higher standing position. Both are clearance offers with restricted returns, so measure the space and your preferred keyboard height before choosing.

Check desktop height before comparing storage

Measure the keyboard surface you find comfortable while seated, then the position you want while standing. Compare those measurements with 28.5 to 46 inches for item 87833659 and 29 to 48 inches for item 751392864. If your required position falls outside a desk’s range, extra drawers will not solve the fit.

The taller numbers in the overall dimensions include the raised shelf: 33.5 to 51 inches on the deeper desk and 33 to 52 inches on the shallower one. They do not describe the surface under your keyboard. The raised levels sit 5 and 4 inches above their respective desktops, so consider your monitor and its stand as well.

Decide whether three more inches of depth help

Both desks are 55 inches wide. The deeper model adds 3 inches front to back, which can make more room for the arrangement of a keyboard, notebook, and monitor base. Mark each rectangle on the floor or your current work surface, then include the space your chair needs behind it.

The raised shelf means the entire rectangle is not one uninterrupted working plane. On the 24-inch-deep model, that shelf measures 55 x 12 inches. Check where your monitor feet, cables, and any equipment will sit instead of assuming every inch of depth stays clear for writing or drawing.

Compare the drawers to what you store

Both desks combine engineered wood, metal, and fabric. The drawers suit small office supplies and lightweight flat items; they are not wood filing drawers.

The 27-inch-deep model has a small-drawer interior of 12 x 8 x 3.5 inches and a large-drawer interior of 20 x 11 x 2.5 inches. That wider but shallower space may suit a flat item that would not fit the other desk. The 24-inch-deep model has two drawers, each 11 x 10 x 3 inches inside. Measure any organizer or device you expect to tuck away.

Loads, cables, and assembly

The deeper desk has a 200 lb static load specification. The shallower desk has a 200 lb maximum-load specification. These labels do not establish how much either motor should lift during adjustment. Use the supplied instructions for the permitted load during movement; a static figure is not a reason to load the desk to that amount and press the up button.

Plan cable slack over the full range you will use, including the monitor shelf and nearby furniture. Check the supplied assembly and electrical instructions before connecting equipment. This comparison does not rank noise, wobble, motor durability, or lifting speed.

The product weights are 75 lb for the deeper desk and 68 lb for the shallower desk. Those are net weights, not shipping-box weights. Plan where the box will be delivered and where you can check its contents before starting assembly.

Clearance prices and return restrictions

The cards show September 2026 Costway prices for the checked black configurations. Item 751392864 is Standing Desk only, even though its product page also offers a chair and a desk-and-chair set. Check the selection as well as the price before paying.

Both offers were marked Clearance. Costway excludes sale items and assembled or disassembled products from ordinary returns. These are poor choices if your plan depends on assembling a desk, trying it for a week, and sending it back if it does not suit you. Damaged or defective items follow separate handling; keep the packaging while inspecting the delivery and follow the reporting instructions promptly.

Costway’s shipping guide excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, APO/FPO addresses, and PO boxes. Its one-year home-use warranty applies to qualifying Costway.com purchases under the warranty terms. Optional paid protection is a separate purchase, not part of either card price.
