# Derila Ergo Pillow Review: Contour Design, Size and Care > Explore the Derila Ergo pillow's butterfly contour, published dimensions, washable cover and pack options, with practical setup and care guidance. Canonical: https://mizaanhome.com/en-us/reviews/derila-ergo-pillow/ Last updated: 2026-10-05 **Verdict:** Consider Derila Ergo if you specifically want a shaped memory foam pillow with a removable cover. Check its dimensions and opened-item return terms before buying: the contour alone cannot tell you whether it will feel comfortable. The single pillow was $59.99 before additional checkout charges when checked on September 26. --- ![Two pale-blue and white Derila Ergo contour pillows against a beige upholstered headboard.](https://mizaanhome.com/images/products/derila-ergo/derila-ergo-bedroom-supplier.jpg) *Seller photograph, Derila. If your current pillow never feels quite right, a different shape can be tempting. Derila Ergo has a butterfly outline, a shaped center and raised sides, rather than the familiar rectangular cushion. That is a reason to compare its fit, not a guarantee that it will improve your sleep. This is an identifiable pillow offer with a published user guide and a retailer checkout. Those checks establish what is being sold; they do not prove the seller's promises about pain, snoring or waking refreshed. The useful comparison is the design, dimensions, care instructions and purchase conditions. ## Check the size before the shape wins you over The [Derila Ergo user guide](https://derila-ergo.com/derila-ergo/user-guide) lists **54 x 36 x 12 cm**, with published equivalents of 21.2 x 14.1 x 4.7 inches. Compare those measurements with your current pillow and pillowcase before ordering. A shaped pillow can take up space differently from a rectangular one. There is a discrepancy worth checking: the affiliate sales page includes image text saying 50 x 30 cm, while the user guide gives the larger measurements above. Ask the seller to confirm the model dimensions if that difference affects your choice. The guide does not establish adjustable fill or the foam's density. A separate height-adjustment accessory appears in the brand store, but that does not mean it is included with this base offer. If adjustable height is essential, confirm exactly what comes in the pack or choose an option with that feature clearly documented. ## Compare the contour with how you use a pillow Check the center and raised sides against the positions you actually use. The 12 cm overall height is not a measurement of the pillow compressed under your head. Nor does a removable cover imply removable filling. The official guide gives different positioning illustrations. Follow those for this model rather than borrowing a generic rule about putting every contour pillow's high edge under the neck. The 6 to 8-hour expansion instruction is an unpacking step, not evidence that discomfort will resolve after a set number of nights. ## What you pay for one pillow On September 26, the single-pillow checkout named **Derila Ergo - Memory Foam Pillow (1)** and showed a **$59.99 item subtotal**. Confirm the current selected quantity, optional extras and final total before paying. The seller's page also listed two pillows at $99.98 and four at $149.96 on the same date. Those larger checkouts were not inspected. If you do not yet know whether the contour suits you, one pillow is the smaller commitment; a bundle discount is not a reason to buy several untried pillows. See the [Derila Ergo price guide](/en-us/prices/pillow-prices/) for the pack comparison. ## Unpacking and cover care The user guide says to allow **6 to 8 hours** for the vacuum-packed pillow to regain its shape. Its removable zippered cover can be machine washed in warm water. Those washing instructions apply to the cover; follow the separate care label for the foam insert. A washable cover is useful if you want bedding with a clear cleaning routine. It does not establish cooling performance or protection from allergens. Our [contour pillow checklist](/en-us/blog/contour-pillow-buying-checklist/) covers the practical questions to settle before ordering. ## Check returns before treating it as a trial The linked retailer checkout displayed a **60-day return or replacement guarantee from purchase**. It did not establish whether an opened pillow qualifies. The brand's return link now opens a separate store policy that says it applies to purchases on that website. Do not assume those conditions settle an order through the linked checkout. Confirm opened-item eligibility and the return process for the offer you choose. Those answers matter more than a general “risk-free” sales claim. ## Buy for the design, not a promised health result Derila Ergo is a reasonable option to investigate if you want this particular contour and a removable cover. Skip it if you prefer a conventional soft rectangular pillow, need confirmed height adjustment, or want a product with demonstrated results for a medical or sleep problem. General [Harvard Health guidance on pillows](https://www.health.harvard.edu/pain/is-your-pillow-hurting-your-health) explains why firmness and sleeping position affect fit; it does not evaluate Derila. If your existing pillow is comfortable, the evidence reviewed here gives no reason to replace it simply because another pillow has a more elaborate shape.
