How we choose and rate
Mizaan Home is an independent editorial guide with one goal: to save you time and protect you from a wrong purchase. So that you can trust our recommendations, you deserve to know exactly how we reach them.
What we base our recommendations on
We gather and analyse three sources for every product:
- Official specifications from the manufacturer (power, capacity, battery, dimensions, features).
- Verified buyer reviews on Amazon Egypt and Noon: we summarise the recurring patterns in praise and complaint, and we cite the sample size (for example, "based on more than 800 reviews").
- Local prices and availability in Egypt, plus warranty and after-sales service where the information exists.
What we do not do, plainly
We do not test products ourselves. So you will never find phrases like "we tried it" or "after weeks of use" on our pages. When we say a vacuum has strong suction or runs quietly, that is based on its specifications and the consensus of hundreds of buyer reviews, not on personal experience. We treat this honesty as a core part of your trust, not a weakness.
Our independence
Our recommendations are based on value to the user alone. We accept no payment to list a product or raise its rank, and we let no brand influence our assessment. Our links may earn us a commission on purchase (read the disclosure), but that commission has no effect whatsoever on our choices or their order.
How we handle prices
Every price we mention is approximate and correct at the time of writing, with the date of last update shown. Prices in Egypt change constantly, so treat our figures as a guide and always check the final price at the store before buying.
How we define "best" in each category
Each category has clear criteria. For vacuums, for example, we weigh suction power, power type (corded or battery), noise level, ease of emptying and cleaning, availability and warranty in Egypt, and finally price against value. In every guide we explain why our top pick won for each use case.
We keep guides up to date
We review our guides regularly to refresh prices, add new models, and correct anything that has changed.
